The answer that we get from most of the marketers is to be effective and efficient in order to maximize the engagements and ROI from social media updates. Here, Statusbrew can help you get everything you can from the content you create!

To get started with promoting content using Statusbrew, all you need is a strong strategy to create content that lasts forever. So you must start by creating content that’s valuable and stays relevant for a long time.

Evergreen Content

Creating evergreen content is an impactful way to drive traffic to your page. To simplify this further, we’ve compiled a list of 6 points that you can refer to understand the importance of evergreen content.

Master the art of creating evergreen content, and streamline the process of increasing traffic, engagements, leads, and eventually drive sales!
Evergreen content serves the purpose of staying relevant to your audience for a long time. This'll help you maintain a repository of content that you can re-share multiple time to keep your audience engaged.

Let’s see how it works.

Write And Repeat

Once you have created a valuable piece of content, re-posting it on social media will be a lot more powerful. However, some marketers might not see a point in sharing the same content repeatedly; here’s where we’ll explain why that works in most cases.

When you post an update on social media, not everyone would be able to see it. Social media platforms like Twitter and Facebook are flooded with post updates every second! That means your post wouldn’t really be able to reach half of your intended audience or even your followers.

A post on Facebook reaches only up to 6% to 7% of the total number of followers. This is because most of the people just check what’s most recent on their news feed and do not necessarily visit a particular page to check every post.

Same is the case with Twitter; a tweet usually has a lifespan of less than half an hour. So whenever you share an update on Twitter, it will stay there for not more than 25 minutes.

But this doesn’t mean you keep on sharing the same thing for the whole day, as this would get annoying. Moreover, sharing repeated stuff makes sense only when you have content that works well on social. So firstly, you must check the result and outcome from the content you want to re-post and share it again if you are sure to get more engagements. Thus, repeating the same content will help you reach more audience than sharing it for once.

Schedule With One Click

Promotions on social media mean you need to share your content at the time when users are most active and are expecting to see a post from you. For instance, you have a page where you used to keep on sharing inspirational quotes every Sunday, infographics every Monday, User Generated Content on Friday & behind the scenes pictures on Saturdays, Statusbrew will help you schedule all your posts for the week at once! All you need is to create your content and let Statusbrew share it for you at the desired time in just a click.

This will help you build consistency into automation and also helps in creating loyalty among your followers.

Statusbrew does not want your evergreen content to get wasted. Basically, you write a post, add the media, and upload it in real-time. If your content works really well, Statusbrew can help you repeat the post along with attaching some inviting media or blog link to it. Want to know how? Here, Statusbrew has solved this squabble for you with CSV file uploads.

CSV Upload

CSV upload helps you schedule different posts at once. You can create a CSV file using Google sheets, Microsoft Excel, or Numbers (on Mac).

  • For the first column, you need to write the date and time for when you want the post to be uploaded. Add this in GMT format (mm/dd/yy hh:mm).
For example, you want to schedule a post for 22 June 2019 at 02:00 AM, you will write this as of 06/22/19 02:00.
  • The next column will include the text for your post. You can also include links for particular blogs, some discount coupons or anything else.
(Note: Don’t add links for Instagram as they wouldn’t appear as an active link; rather it displays as text.)
  • For the next column, you can add the URL of the images you want to upload. Image URL is not mandatory for other platforms instead of Instagram. But make sure the image is globally accessible. If it is not, you can get the URL by adding them to some image uploading sites such as Flickr, Imgur, DeviantArt or Photobucket.

Once you are done with filling the content in the file, save and download it as .csv file format.

For uploading the file, follow the easy steps:

  1. Go to Statusbrew dashboard and choose CSV upload option by clicking on compose icon on the left navigation pane.
  2. Select the type of file you are going to upload.
  3. Now click upload file option to choose file or drag & drop file to upload it.
  4. You can shorten the links by activating link shortener. This will help you track and manage the content reach.
  5. Finally, upload your CSV file.

In case you need some changes after uploading the file, you can change it in Planner before it gets published.
