Different social media platforms have different demographics and thus have a different time that works best for the audience. For example, A time suitable for Facebook audience may not be best for Twitter.
It gets even more complicated when you take into account different time zones. People from around the globe are present on social media. So there is a very less chance that your whole audience will be from the same time zone. If you're targeting the audience from the United States and Canada then you likely want to post in the EST zone whereas if your target audience is in London, you probably want to post within the GMT zone.
Moreover, it is not necessary that the best time will remain the same for all over the week. It may be different on weekends as compared to weekdays.

Best times to post for different social platforms
Monday to Friday are considered best for posting on Facebook. As the time is concerned, content posted from 11 AM to 4 PM, especially on Wednesday or Thursday gets maximum reach and engagement. Researches have proved that many brands don't post on Wednesday. So your content can get a good number of views at that time, as the probability of it being lost in the content feed is much less. Thus, it is considered the best day to post during weekdays.
The content posted on Sundays, early mornings, or late in the evening, usually after 5 PM are observed to have the least engagement among the Facebook audience.
This platform allows concise postings limited to 280 characters. So people usually like to read tweets during the commute period in weekdays or during their lunchtime. These preferred times are 8-10 AM, 12-1 PM and 5-8 PM. So visibility for your tweets will be maximum around these times.
Most of the researches agree, Tuesday to Thursday is usually the best time to tweet on Twitter while weekends have the least engagement.
Due to the platform's visual attraction, posting anytime on it can bring high impressions. Even then, in terms of best engagement, time slot suggested by most of the studies are 11 AM To 1 PM, 5-6 PM and 9-11 PM on any weekday from Tuesday to Friday. Here too, mid-week posts perform better than posts made on any other day, just like Facebook.
Time slots that are not preferred on Instagram are Mondays, Sundays, or late nights or very early in the mornings.
The safest time for it that has been found out by analyzing the data is usually 9-11 AM from Tuesday to Thursday. Since LinkedIn is a professional network, mostly professionals check out LinkedIn feed only during weekdays, and that too in the morning. Rest of the days are not much recommended for posting on this professional network as posts made on these days get the least engagement among the LinkedIn audience.
Because the usage pattern of every other individual is different on various social media platforms, these general time slots might not perform well for your audience.

- Login to your Statusbrew dashboard and visit the Publish section
- Click on the Category from the side nav and further, click on Create Category on the top right side of your screen. Create Category window will appear.
- Type a Category Name.
- Now, choose the timezone from the save dropdown, in which you want to schedule your posts.
- Choose the date and time combinations that you wish to push your posts on. 6. You can add multiple times by clicking on the Add Time.
- Choose the desired color for your category and click Save.
Now, you can use this category to schedule your content.
